The Venipuncture Needle-Pro device is the leading vacutainer safety needle holder on the market. Many phlebotomists, nurses, and other clinicians refer to this product as "Carrot Tops". The safety needle holder has an orange-hinged safety feature that is activated with a simple one-handed technique against a flat surface. When engaged it does not allow the needle to be removed or the holder to be re-used, reducing cross contamination. The Venipuncture Needle-Pro device is compliant with OSHA directives in reference to The Needle Safety and Prevention Act.
